Why I started the Rare Erf seller advisory
Over the years, I’ve seen friends and family walk away from property sales with considerably less than they might have achieved. Sometimes haste played a part. Sometimes emotion, sometimes incomplete information or a weak plan.
I started the Rare Erf property advisory to help owners approach the selling process better prepared so they can avoid potential pitfalls and get more satisfying results.
My background combines psychology, negotiation training and more than three decades spent working as a brand strategist, creative director and copywriter. I use that experience to understand buyer motivations, make a persuasive case for your property and keep your priorities in view when decisions become difficult.
Above all, I see myself as The Seller’s Agent: someone focused on protecting your interests, facilitating a smooth sales process, and achieving the best possible price for your property.
Helping buyers see the full value your property offers
A floor plan can show the size of a room. It can’t show how it feels to watch the winter sun fill it.
A sheltered terrace, an uninterrupted view, privacy, architecture, aspect, setting, development potential, rarity, history, or even just the fact that it’s a short walk to the cliff path may help a buyer choose your home over another.
My job is to identify what makes your property uniquely valuable to potential buyers and to make that value visible to them.
Why I choose to work for Fine & Country
Fine & Country’s approach to property marketing fits the way I think about marketing premium property.
Rather than just listing rooms, features and square meters, Fine & Country believes every home deserves a clear story about its unique character, setting and the life it makes possible.
It’s an approach that’s seen Fine & Country named Best International Estate Agency Marketing seven times in ten years at the International Property Awards, alongside numerous other awards.
But good marketing is only part of it.
Fine & Country combines local property expertise with an international network - and access to professional partners who assist sellers with the legal, tax and foreign-exchange questions that can accompany a sale.
What does it cost to work with me?
Our initial conversation is free and without obligation.
If you appoint me to sell your property through Fine & Country, we’ll agree the commission and scope of service upfront. Any proposed third-party expenses, such as staging or professional photography, will be discussed before you commit. You’ll know what’s included and what would cost extra.
